Estádio João Havelange

The Estádio Olímpico Municipal João Havelange, also known by its nickname Engenhão, was built by the City Hall of Rio de Janeiro for the Panamerican Games of 2007. It is located in Engenho de Dentro, in the northern zone of the city and it is used mostly for football matches and athletics. The stadium has seating capacity for more than 46,000 people.
